Ian Campbell, B.P.Ed, BC-HIS
Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner
Ian brings over two decades of experience practicing hearing aid health care in Alberta. His strong belief in a client-centred model of fitting hearing aids continues to guide his approach and leadership at Calgary Hearing Aid & Audiology.
Before transitioning into hearing care, Ian's career started in public education. Today, he combines education with his expertise in hearing aid technology and is a trusted resource for people with hearing loss in the Calgary region.
Colleen Wiebe
Doctor of Audiology
Colleen has been an audiologist since 1998. She began her career as an audiologist in public health care in Swift Current, Saskatchewan before moving to Calgary, and Colleen became
an owner of Calgary Hearing Aid & Audiology with Ian in 2002.
In 2007, Colleen moved with her husband (also an audiologist) and daughter to Brandon, Manitoba and opened a hearing clinic – all while studying for her doctorate degree in audiology. As her family grew, Colleen continued to expand the company in Brandon so she
could provide better hearing care and help more people.
Dr. Alyssa M.K. Fex, Au.D., R.Aud(C)
Doctor of Audiology
Alyssa is a homegrown Calgarian educated with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (minor in Sociology and minor in Psychology) from the University of Calgary and a Doctorate of Audiology from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. As a registered audiologist in Alberta, Alyssa utilizes various diagnostic skills and knowledge to provide clients with thorough and individualized services. She works hard to advocate for her
clients and profession to help benefit people who have a hearing impairment.
Alyssa maintains Clinical Certification with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada and membership with the Canadian Academy of Audiology, which gives her access to the most up-to-date hearing healthcare knowledge.
Nuha Ghiyas, M.A.S.L.P, Reg-Aud
Registered Audiologist
I am a Registered Audiologist in the province of Alberta and Ontario. With more than ten years of experience in providing health services to patients, I am extremely passionate about providing exceptional care and devising treatment plans for individuals dealing with hearing loss and related medical conditions. I am knowledgeable and have excellent professional skills.
My journey as an Audiologist began by Pursuing Audiology Speech and Language pathology from India in 2008 till I successfully completed my Masters in Audiology Speech and Language Pathology in 2014. Following this, I have been closely working with Ear Nose throat specialists, Neurologists and other health care givers in Hospital and Audiology clinics across India and Canada.
I performed my duties as an Audiologist as well as a Speech therapist back in India and later got Registered as an Audiologist in Canada. Over the years of experience I believe in evidence based practice and successfully incorporate my knowledge to provide our patients with the best care, advice and support that is required.
I absolutely enjoy offering my patients the “Gift of Hearing” with my expertise and knowledge.
Karen Rushkewich, RHAP, BC-HIS
Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner
Karen joined the Calgary Hearing Aid & Audiology team in 2003. Four years later, she graduated from Grant MacEwan University with the mission to provide a better quality of
life through hearing care. She is Board Certified through the National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS) and a member of the International Hearing Society (IHS) and College of Hearing Aid Practitioners of Alberta (CHAPA).
Karen continues to stay up to date with the changing technology in hearing aids. She uses her experience and education to provide the best customer service in hearing health care.
Kimberly Hartwig, RHAP, BC,-HIS
Registered Hearing Aid Practitioner
Kimberly appreciates her job as a hearing aid practitioner because she gets the opportunity to meet and help a variety of people while learning about new and innovative technology. She started at Calgary Hearing Aid & Audiology in 2010 and graduated from the Hearing Aid Practitioner program at Grant MacEwan University in 2014. continues to deepen her knowledge related to hearing health care.
When Kimberly is not at work, she loves to travel with her husband and keep active with her dog.

Armand brings decades of experience in hearing health care, with most of that time spent at Calgary Hearing Aid & Audiology. His success in hearing care is grounded on dedication to understanding the needs of each client and ensuring their hearing aids are properly selected and fitted. Armand understands that everyone's hearing needs are unique, so his approach must also be unique for each client.
Over the years, Armand has helped and improved the lives of many clients, and he is now fitting second-generation clients!

Lang joined the team at Calgary Hearing Aid & Audiology in 2018. From her first day, she knew the company was a great fit for her experience and passion. Lang's enthusiasm for audiology can be seen every day as she interacts with clients and their families. Her
commitment to their hearing health goals is met with the highest integrity and care.
Lang's focus is on helping individuals identify, treat and manage hearing loss to improve their quality of life.
Erica Teixeira, Ph.D, Au.D, R.Aud
Doctor of Audiology
Erica was trained as an Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist, working in Brazil before embarking on her Ph.D. in Health Sciences at Newcastle University, UK. After completion of her studies, she moved to Calgary in 2014, where she assisted with
numerous research projects at the University of Calgary that focused on improving the quality of life of older adults.
After supporting multidisciplinary research teams, Erica had the desire to return to clinical practice. She enjoys working directly with clients and the fact they have different needs and desires for their hearing health. Allowing clients to hear again is something she finds incredibly rewarding. Erica is currently in the process of completing her Doctorate of Audiology at A.T. Still University. She enjoys spending time with her husband, son and friends, traveling to new places, and being outdoors.
